At The Solar eStore we are very proud of our green credentials.

Reducing environmental Impact.
We're keenly aware of our environmental responsibilities and have tried to promote the use of solar energy as part of all our daily lives by sourcing high quality products that can fit into anybody's life style.

Power:
Because The Solar eStore is a totally online (e)Store, all information is stored on secure servers at our 'green' hosting company. We don't have the need to print any documents. Thus, our paper usage in the office is minimal. Even our office is power by renewable energy.

Our green web hosting:
HostPapa is a leader in corporate responsibility and sustainable business practises. HostPapa has taken the initiative of going green by purchasing 100% green renewable energy to power our data centres, web servers, office computers, laptops and office space. These energy sources supply HostPapa's entire equivalent energy consumption into the power-grid with certified 100% renewable green energy sources, such as wind and solar-powered energy.

Waste:
We reuse and recycle the vast majority of our paper and packaging. Any unwanted paper is shredded and used in packaging. Cardboard boxes are reused and cut to size if necessary. Any polystyrene, bubble wrap or foam that comes to us is reused.

Printing and paper:
We only print as and when is needed, and use recycled paper and biodegradable inks whenever possible. All printer cartridges are recycled.

Wooden products:
We offer some wooden solar toys, the wood used in the contruction of these toys is eco-friendly and sourced from sustainable supplies (for more information - FSC UK - Forest Stewardship Council
